1. Information Collection and Data Processing
Unlike standard software, our core functionality strictly categorizes data processing into distinct modes to minimize data exposure.
A. Input Data (Processed Content)
Lite Mode (Strictly Local Processing): When you use Lite mode via our browser extension, all privacy data detection and text masking are executed entirely locally within your browser. We never collect, transmit, or store your text inputs, form data, or browsing content on our servers.
Dynamic & Strict Modes (Cloud Processing): When you enable Dynamic or Strict mode, or use our web platform for deep analysis, your text data is transmitted through HTTPS/TLS 1.2+ to servers located in the United States for processing.
Data Destruction and Authorized Retention: By default, after analysis and response, original text is immediately and permanently purged. Exception: if you explicitly opt in to the Model Improvement Program, we retain strictly anonymized/masked data under your authorization.
B. Account and Technical Information
We support login via GitHub and Google with minimum identity data only. We also collect standard technical details (IP, device ID, browser, OS) for service security and operation, and only use essential cookies for session and preferences.
2. Use of Information
We use personal data to provide services, manage accounts, and send critical notices.
As a default rule, we do not use your input data for model training. If you explicitly opt in, we may retain anonymized/masked text for supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning to improve compliance detection accuracy. You can withdraw this authorization at any time in account settings.
3. Information Sharing
We do not rent or sell personal information.
We only share data with sub-processors under strict DPAs, during legitimate business transfers, or where legally required.
4. Cross-Border Data Transfers
If you access services from regions with comprehensive data protection laws, please note Dynamic/Strict mode data may be processed in the United States. We apply appropriate safeguards such as SCCs/IDTA where required.
5. Retention of Your Personal Data
Account registration data is retained while needed for service or legal obligations. Cloud-processed input data is not retained by default. Opt-in anonymized training data is retained until consent withdrawal or until no longer useful for training.
